Cascade Brewing presents Bee Fest, a Celebration of Northwest Sour Beers made with Honey

May 29, 2018 | Event, Press Release | by

Cascade Brewing is buzzing with excitement to announce its new Bee Fest. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 12 from open to close at its two local pubs: the Cascade Brewing Barrel House, located at 939 SE Belmont St.; and the Lodge at Cascade Brewing, located at 7424 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy.

Cascade Bee Fest will highlight seven honey beers, including Honey Ginger Lime, Honeycot, Honey Teapot, Mulled Apple Sour (served cold), Bees Knees, Desert Bloom and Orange Blossom; plus an eighth live barrel project –– a Buckwheat Honey Beer –– that will be tapped at 6pm at the Barrel House. Held exclusively at the Cascade Barrel House every Tuesday at 6pm, Tap It Tuesday is a chance for sour beer lovers to taste live beer straight from the barrel.

The event is a benefit for Portland Urban Beekeepers, a non-profit organization of beekeepers that provides community, advocacy, and education for those interested in raising honey bees and supporting their presence in the environment.
